This vintage Normandy poster with Art Deco graphics is an ode to the sweetness of life by the sea. Published by the State Railways in the 1930s, it features a bucolic landscape with vivid colors: a typical thatched cottage, Norman cows, cliffs bathed in light, and the call of the coastline in the background.
A graphic style typical of interwar tourism promotion
With its slogan "Summer... The State", the poster plays on a visual pun and invites holidaymakers to discover the charms of Normandy by train. This type of visual was widely displayed in train stations to promote seaside and rural tourism.

Provide a complete postal address and a reachable phone number. Delivery to a PO box or pickup point depends on the country, size and carrier.
Our frames measure 1.7 cm on each side. For a 40x60 cm painting, the total framed size is therefore 43.4 x 63.4 cm.
Canvas 100% polyester (285 g/m²), UV-resistant and solvent-free inks, safe for children and allergy sufferers. The canvases are mounted on a 2 cm thick wooden frame (4 cm for very large formats).
