Max Eglau, master of the modern gaze
Max Eglau's art is rooted in a tradition that blends naturalistic observation with contemporary sensitivity, influenced by the great landscape painters of the 20th century. His work emphasizes light as a narrative element, transforming ordinary scenes into poetic moments. Among his influences are attention to atmospheric effects and chromatic precision reminiscent of certain Impressionist masters, while asserting a personal and current vision.
