About The Lesson
Dorotheum catalogues this work by Johann Baptist Reiter under the German title Die Unterrichtsstunde, translated as The Lesson. The oil on canvas measures 63 × 50 cm. Specialist Lothar Schultes confirmed its authenticity from a photograph.

Our frames measure 1.7 cm on each side. For a 40x60 cm painting, the total framed size is therefore 43.4 x 63.4 cm.
Canvas 100% polyester (285 g/m²), UV-resistant and solvent-free inks, safe for children and allergy sufferers. The canvases are mounted on a 2 cm thick wooden frame (4 cm for very large formats).
