Give your walls an Art Nouveau touch with this vintage Cherbourg poster, a refined advertising work from the French graphic tradition.
In this iconic Belle Époque scene, an elegant woman holding fruits and flowers is framed by two colorful agricultural machines – a press and a Simon Frères crusher. Produced in Cherbourg, this illustration aimed to promote winemaking equipment, combining technique and aesthetics through an elegant illustrative style, with stylized contours and warm tones.
A art print blending elegance, craftsmanship, and Norman heritage
This vintage Cherbourg poster is a superb example of old advertising art. It illustrates the industrial know-how of the Nord-Cotentin, while featuring the ideal female figure of the time: graceful, productive, and inspired by nature.
Ideal for a kitchen, living room, wine bar, or a fitted cellar, this art print will appeal to enthusiasts of retro design, gourmet decoration, or industrial history. A graphic wink as rare as it is elegant.
