This vintage Granville poster embodies the entire spirit of seaside tourism at the end of the 19th century, combining elegance, retro charm, and an invitation to travel.
It features a young woman in a striped swimsuit, emblematic of the Belle Époque, joyfully posing in front of a panorama of Granville, with inserts showing the casino, the Norman coasts, and Jersey. The text highlights simplified routes from Paris, excursions to Saint-Pair, Donville, or Carolles, and express connections to the Anglo-Norman islands.
A art print full of freshness and optimism
This vintage advertising poster illustrates the birth of modern tourism thanks to railways and the first swimsuits. Colorful, dynamic, and imbued with lightness, it attracts both history of tourism enthusiasts and lovers of vintage graphic design. Ideal for a lively seaside decoration.
Perfect in a holiday home, a retro bathroom, a hotel, or a space dedicated to the art of seaside living.
