About the artwork

Discover the story behind this artwork

This vintage poster highlights the brand Ault & Wiborg Co., renowned for its high-quality printing inks. Its elegant graphic design, printed in shades of orange-red on a beige background, immediately captures the eye. The centered composition features a stylized child with fine lines holding a banner inscribed with "Makers of Fine Dry Colors," reflecting the care given to the products of this manufacturer. The vintage stylized lettering, with detailed typography, accompanies decorative elements such as scrolls, a crest, and smoke in the background, emphasizing the history and prestige of this Cincinnati-based company with branches in New York and Chicago. This poster is an ideal choice to enhance a retro or industrial wall decor, adding a nostalgic and authentic touch to any interior. Available as a poster or framed print, it fits perfectly in an office, an artist's studio, a library, or a living room where the charm of vintage posters elevates the space with a unique atmosphere. Whether for a collector of vintage advertising posters or an enthusiast of wall decor with a retro style, this print offers an unmistakable graphic and historical nod.
